Amongst the peaks of the Ruby Mountains Mountain Goats roam. Their white coat blends in beautifully with the surrounding snow, and when amongst the cliffs, their agile bodies navigate impossible terrain to avoid predators. As one approached over the cliff ledge, I captured this photograph with some of the highest peaks of the Ruby Mountains in the background.
