Mountain Quails spend their lives roaming the mountain forests of California in search of a mate and food every summer. After 5 years of searching, with year after year of unsuccessful photo attempts, in my final year I was able to get a well placed environment shot of the elusive Mountain Quail. Bringing the journey to an end.
